CHOO FOONG MIN (Mindy) graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 2004. Mindy did her pupilage with Mr. Ooi Weng Hooi at Messrs Ooi Weng Hooi & Company in year 2004. She then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 12 March 2005.

She joined Messrs Teh Beng Yeam & Assiciates and also Messrs Oh Teik Aun & Company since April 2005 to September 2009 as legal associate, and as partner in Messrs Ooi Weng Hooi & Company from October 2009 to May 2024.

Throughout her career in practice, Mindy has gathered extensive experience in advising commercial and individual clients in general civil litigation(s), commercial transaction(s), real estate and matrimonial cases. She also attended to different levels of courts, ie Magistrate Court, Sessions Court, High Court, Court of Appeal , Industrial Court &  Tribunals.

Mindy joined Messrs Ng Kian Nam & Partners as Partner on 1 Jun 2024. She has vast experience in handling general civil litigation, individual mortgages, Security/Islamic Documents of various banks and financial institutions, documentation of Housing Schemes/Condominium projects/Conveyancing, Probate, Letter of Administration, Small Estates, resealing of court orders, employment and Industrial Relation, banking litigation for charge, hire purchase, foreclosure, bankruptcy/ insolvency, Order of distribution, vesting order, order for sale, contentious and non-contentious matters including company winding up, divorce, adoption, custody, declaration, committal proceedings, Judgment Debtor Summons, Garnishee, writ of seizure & sale, writ of possession, distress, conducting full trial for various matters, drafting of contract(s) and other area of miscellaneous matters.

She is now assigned to manage the Penang branch.
