Chua Yee Soong graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Liverpool. He is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in December 2020.

Yee Soong previously practised at Messrs. Ken St James, where he was actively involved in a broad range of civil disputes, with a particular focus on Intellectual Property related matters, including trademark applications and trademark disputes. He has also assisted in various hearings and trials before the High Court, Court Of Appeal and Federal Court.

Yee Soong joined Messrs. Ng Kian Nam in October 2025 as Legal Assistant in charged of general civil litigation in Kuala Lumpur branch.
